A Web Accessibility Specialist with a Ground-Up Approach

With a strong foundation as a front-end developer specializing in bespoke WordPress theme and Shopify development, I’ve dedicated my career to creating custom, interactive digital experiences. My background in transforming flat designs into engaging applications has shaped my ability to build accessible websites from the ground up.

Specialising in accessible web design, I have extensive experience as a front-end developer with deep knowledge of the W3C 2.2 Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. Today, I leverage my development knowledge to code with accessibility in mind from the outset, ensuring accessibility is built into every component rather than addressed at the end. My work includes comprehensive accessibility auditing for healthcare, government, and defence sectors, covering sites like NHS websites, fire services, and MOD sites. My primary focus is on making digital experiences accessible for everyone, which naturally ensures that GDS accessibility regulations are met with the highest levels of compliance.
