Accessibility Statement

This accessibility statement applies to roshangurung.co.uk.

This website is run by Roshan Gurung. I want as many people as possible to be able to use this website, regardless of technology, access needs, or how they choose to browse.

For example, you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels, and fonts using your browser or device settings
  • zoom in without text spilling off the screen
  • navigate the website using a keyboard
  • use the website with a screen reader
  • understand the content in clear, straightforward language

I have built this website with accessibility in mind and aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.2 AA standard.

How accessible this website is

I am committed to keeping this website accessible and improving it over time.

At the moment, I am not aware of any major accessibility issues, but I continue to review the site as I add new pages, blog posts, and content.

Some older content, third-party embeds, or linked external websites may not always meet the same accessibility standard. Where possible, I will provide accessible alternatives or improve the content when issues are identified.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA.

Non-accessible content

I am not currently aware of any specific non-accessible content on this website.

If any issues are found, I will list them here and explain:

  • when I expect it to be resolved

What I’m doing to improve accessibility

I plan to keep accessibility part of the ongoing maintenance of this website. This includes:

  • reviewing new pages and blog posts before publishing
  • checking colour contrast, headings, links, forms, and keyboard access
  • testing key pages with accessibility tools and manual checks
  • improving content so it is clear, structured, and easy to understand
  • updating this statement when significant changes are made
